Ashford was the main character in two seasons of CBS Comedy B Positive. It was created by Marco Pennette Chuck Lorre with the legendary Linda Lavin Hector Elizondo Ben Vereen. Ashford, who is not unfamiliar with Broadway has won two Tony Drama Desk Awards as in addition to Outer Critics Circle Awards in the role in the role of Essie.
