Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. Her birth date was June 13th, 1962. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat pack consisting of actors. She appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy, an American writer and actress. Her career in film began in the her early 80s when she was featured as a character actress for the crime-drama film, Bad Boys. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie and also starred prominent actor Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her debut success led her to be a part of The Breakfast Club, a 1985 comedy-drama. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club is considered as one of most memorable films of high school cinema. Although the budget was just $1 million, the film's earnings surpassed the mark of $50 million. In the meantime she started appearing on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. From April 1980 it was an adolescent-oriented show. She also appeared on other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film about a super hero in which Sheedy plays an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy is the recipient of numerous awards for her exceptional performances, among them the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
