Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an acclaimed American actor. Her most well-known role is as the detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's drama Providence. In addition, she received high praise for her first television role in Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. Her appearances include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the duo who came up with the Immortals) is thought to be in production. Also, she's filming a new series called Gods & Heroes.
